DAYS INN & SUITES BY WYNDHAM FORT PIERCE MIDTOWN, Fort Pierce – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel is conveniently located near shopping plazas and food spots, but there were some safety concerns. The room had issues with air conditioning and a strange smell, which affected the overall stay.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth, and the front staff was very friendly, but I encountered some issues with the rooms ranging from mildew smell to wet floors in one, lack of beds in another, and finally an acceptable room. The price was reasonable, but cleanliness was an ongoing concern during my stay.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had a slight smell of mildew, and the air conditioner struggled to cool properly. On the bright side, the room was equipped with a mini fridge and microwave, but unfortunately, it smelled like a cigar bar. The service was friendly and courteous during check-in and check-out. However, they seemed eager to move on quickly, with a minor incident of them complaining about a bit of chocolate milk in the room. Nonetheless, they were quick to respond when I found ants in the sink and offered to change my room. The hotel's location was convenient for my needs, although it differed from the online representations and seemed to be in a run-down area. The dining experience had its shortcomings with no prior notice on early breakfast service and lacking even a cup of coffee. Additionally, the attached restaurant was a miss without any notice about changes. Despite the issues, the hotel had some positive aspects like its proximity to my destination and a helpful staff member willing to relocate my room when needed. However, the environment outside seemed unsettling with disturbances that suggested some safety concerns. The facilities were adequate, but the analog TV service was outdated, and the presence of taped hooks in the bathroom detracted from the overall experience.
